When will my order arrive?

If you select free shipping as the postage method, your order will most likely arrive in 4 to 7 business days from the date of postage if you're located outside of the ACT, or 3 to 5 business days if you're located within the ACT.  

If you upgrade the postage method to express delivery, your order will most likely arrive in 1 to 3+ business days from the date of postage if you're located outside of the ACT, or 1 to 2+ business days if you're located within the ACT. These estimates are according to the Australia Post website.

Will my kefir grains/sourdough/scoby survive transit?

Yes, and don’t worry if your order takes longer than a week to arrive. Our cultures are extremely robust and can remain in transit for 2 weeks before they start to decline in health, with the exception of our kombucha scobys which can survive for much longer. However, if you do have any concerns, or if your culture takes more than 2 weeks to arrive from the date of postage, please contact us so that we can help you out.

Why does the tracking for my order show as pending?

Some of our orders may be dropped within Australia Post street post boxes instead of being dropped off at a post office. As a result, the tracking may not be scanned until your order is at a sorting facility, or on very rare occasions, the day it is out for delivery.

I’m having issues with my culture

Our kefir grains and sourdough starters may need a few batches to adapt to their new environment and become fully potent – don’t worry if the first batch or two does not seem to do anything or fully ferment.
